With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irene Cosgrove of Rockaway, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Irene left this world on October 10, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Aplada (Maria Fasoulakis) and Irene; her husband Michael; her children, Melissa Cosgrove, Larry Sokolowski, Jennifer Hellner and Thomas Hellner; her grandchildren, Christian, Michaela Sokolowski, TJ and Amanda Hellner; and her sisters, Soula and Pipina.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home (150 Landing Rd, Landing, NJ 07850). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Tranquility Cemetery (19 Maple Lane Rd, Green Township, NJ 07821).
