He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard (Elisabeth Anna Maria Kowalski) and Johannes; and his wife Antonie Kowalski. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Khoury (Sam), Patricia Baker, Karen Fowler (Jeff) and Lore McPeek; his grandchildren, Celine, Erica, Shawn, Robert, Petra, Joshua, Michael, Ryan, Jeffrey, Amanda, Alex and Jenna; and his stepgranddaughters, Samantha and Stephanie. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
