It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Hynes of Rockaway, New Jersey, who passed away on July 23, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though John may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Hynes; and his parents, John Patrick and Irene Cecilia Hynes. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Hynes; his daughters, Jeanette Nigro (Matt Nigro) and Joyce Hynes (David Nigro); and his grandchildren, Daniel Nigro and Dana Nigro.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Madison Memorial (159 Main St, Madison, NJ 07940). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
