She is also survived by her brothers and sisters in-law, many dear nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Katie was a woman of endless generosity who loved being with her family in the pool in Rockaway or on the ocean at the Jersey Shore. When we would visit at Christmas time the grandchildren would receive an abundance of loving gifts. There was always plenty of food around to make any celebration special. Most notable was her smile.
