We announce the death of Michael J. Palermo of Rockaway, New Jersey, who passed away on July 21, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew C. Palermo and Mary Agnes Palermo (Cippolla); and his brothers, Andrew Palermo Jr. and Anthony Palermo. He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Palermo (Cuellar) of Rockaway Township; his children, Michael Palermo Jr. (Shana) of Massachusetts, Scott Palermo of Florida, Mary Ann Palermo of Florida and Charles Palermo (Jacqueline King-Palermo) of Delaware; his stepchildren, Liane Swan (Kenneth Swan Jr.) of New Jersey and John Guevara (Sara) of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Michael Joseph III, Nicolas Jude, Sarah Corrinne, Emma Elena, Laura Raquel, Michael John and Jamie Gavin. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
