He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewitt Edwards and Nellie Mae Edwards (Decker); his wife Helen; his sister Dorothy Edwards Arico; and his son James Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Linda J. Edwards (Larry Chesnut), Susan Edwards (Gary Firuta) and Thomas Edwards; his grandchildren, Jennifer Nerantzoulis (Antonis), Jessica Stalter, Christie Wagner, Lauren Edwards Raposa and Tanya Correa; his great grandchildren, Niko, Maximos and Eliana Nerantzoulis; his niece Annie Arico; his nephew Frank Arico; and his close friend Marion Dachisen.
