He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Groze (Bodea) and Michael Groze; and his brothers, Edward, Michael, Victor and George.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Groze; his children, Patricia Ostrander (Paul) and John Mark Groze (late Denise); his granddaughters, Jennifer (Robert Topdewski), Stephanie Mullay (Nick), Kimberly Smith and Kelly Ramos (Michael); his great grandchildren, Brenden Boucher, Mackenzie Boucher, Hudson Ramos, Sloane Smith, Halstead Ramos, Delilah Smith and Hendrix Ramos; his sister Florence Smith (late Frank); and his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Pyle (late Daniel) and Marian Groze (late George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Koschek-Mancuso Funeral Home (1115 Hornberger Ave, Roebling, NJ 08554). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:40 AM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
