He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne (Zuver); and his brothers, Arthur Figel (Yoko), Robert Figel (Caroline Edward Figel), Donald Figel (Jean), Charles Zuver and David Paulera.

He is survived by: his daughter Mary Jean Day (Brian); his grandsons, Parker and Thayer Day; and his siblings, Betty Paulera and Jimmy Figel (Marjorie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
