He was predeceased by: his parents, Evangelos Vlahakis and Katherine Vlahakis; his wife Mary Vlahakis; and his siblings, Stelios, Christos and Magda.
He is survived by: his children, Evangelos Vlahakis (Sandra), Catherine Kuehn and Paula Mavridis (Tony); and his grandchildren, Alexander, Mia Vlahakis, Christopher, Eleftheria Kuehn, Maryssa and Nickolas Mavridis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Dallas, Texas or St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church in Naples, FL- where he was surrounded by close friendships at both churches.
