He is survived by: his wife Valerie A. Mattio (Lawler); his children, John Mattio (Regina), Alison Mattio, Kimberly Bassani (Frank) and James Catalano; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Caterina, Kristin, Courtney, Samantha and Frank.
