He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Mae DeLaMater. He is survived by: his close friend Kelly D'Angerio; his family NJ; his close friends, Joe and Jerry; his extended family Ting-A of Ling's Italian; his children, Glen Ridge, Barbara, Mary, Joe, Linda and Larry; his grandchildren, Jesse, Trevor Hayes and Sophie Mae Zappulla; his sister Arlene Toth (Bob); his cousins, Frank Vitale (Jane), Madlyn Granieri and Richard Vitale; his sister-in-law Linda Weiss (Tim); and his nieces and nephews, Roseann Yeager (late Bob), Anthony DePalma, William Heerwagen Jr. (Suzanne), Susan Heerwagen, Jennifer Nugent (Jim), Timothy Weiss (Jess), Katelyn Slivka (Paul) and Patrick Weiss (Christina).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home (596 Belgrove Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (76 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003).
