He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Celestino (Costa) and Florinda Gomes Pinho; and his siblings, Florinda, Palmira, Alcina, Antonio Augusto, Dr. Francisco and Horacio.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Rosa Costa; his children, Oscar Costa (Maria), E. Costa and Gina M Costa; and his grandchildren, Oscar Costa Jr. (Victoria Costa), Maria N. Costa, Danielle D. Costa and Joseph C. Costa. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farmer Funeral Home (45 Roseland Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Philomena's Church (386 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Shriners Children's Hospital.
