With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sydney K. Hamburger of Roseland, New Jersey, who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sydney K. Hamburger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Kahn and Ruth Kahn; her sons, Sandy and Merle; and her pets, Daisy and Maxie.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Hamburger, Isaac Hamburger and Sidney Hamburger (Susan); her grandchildren, Alexandra Langan (Philip), Jillian Scanlin (Jack), Samantha Hamburger, Benjamin Hamburger, Alicia Hampton, Kevin Hamburger, Rachel Hamburger, Ryan Hamburger and Abigail Hamburger; and her great grandchildren, Ezra and Levi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home (45 Roseland Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sydney's memory to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, your favorite animal rescue organization or the charity of your choice.
