He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Portanova and Vincenza "Jean" Portanova; his wife Theodora Brownson Portanova; and his godson Justin Pasquariello. He is survived by: his children, Jenna Tomae (Thomas) and Chris Portanova (Ashley); his grandchildren, Caden, Thomas "TJ" Tomae, Addison and Paxton Portanova; and his sister Julia Pasquariello (Bobby). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and dear friends.
