With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anna Hewko of Roselle Park, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Anna left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Muryn and Maria Muryn; her husband Kornel Hewko; and her siblings, Ivan and Ahafia.
She is survived by: her sons, Stefan and Roman (Amelia); her grandchildren, Heather Thomas (Christopher), Amber Matlosz (Matthew) and Anthony Fernandes (Kelly); and her great grandchildren, Ethan and Caleb Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home (2124 E St Georges Ave, Linden, NJ 07036). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Vladimir's Church (309 Grier Ave #311, Elizabeth, NJ 07202). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the St. Gertrude's Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children Hospital or Wounded Warrior's in Anna's memory.
