With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Franklin Schmitz of Roselle Park, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Schmitz (Kropilak). He is survived by: his sister Miriam Mascola; his children, Frank Schmitz (Sally), Cynthia Moss (Tom), John Schmitz (Donna) and Richard Schmitz (Joy); and his close friend Edith Hartmann. He is also survived by five loving grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home (1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083).
