She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel A. De Almeida; and her brothers, Antonio, Joseph and Francisco Teixeira. She is survived by: her children, Anthony De Almeida (Carmen) and Paula T. Frangias (Tasos); her grandchildren, Vanessa (Nick) and Ari; her great grandchildren, Harrison and Charlie; and her sisters-in-law, Isabel, Guida and Rose. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Juvenile Diabetes Research.
