It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnsie L. Scott (Roselle, New Jersey), born in Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lillie Rose Little McIntyre and William McIntyre; and her husband Edward Scott, Jr.. She is survived by : her sons, Edward Scott, III, Drew Scott and Todd Scott; and her grandchild Jade Andes. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

She was a faithful member of Heard A. M. E. Church in Roselle, New Jersey where she was a member of the South Carolina Club and recipient of the Outstanding Women Award for outstanding service and contribution to Heard A.M.E. Church on the 8th of May 2011.
