With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Mae Wilson (Roselle, New Jersey), born in Hemingway, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2026 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roseziner Barr Scott and Johnson Scott; her husband George Wilson, Jr.; and her siblings, Willie, Leroy, Maude, Franklin Scott, Alberta Green and Mary Lee Scott Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Wilson Givens (Donald), Curtis Wilson (Heather) and Shawn Wilson (Susan); her grandchildren, Tiffini, Jokester, Devante, Malcolm, Isaiah, Aysia and Leigha; her sister Jannie Doughty; and her siblings-in-law, Sallie Scott, Wilhelmena Scott, Jannie Wilson and Roosevelt "Nick" Wilson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
