He is survived by: his wife Tamisha Roundtree; his children, Tai, Teanna Roundtree, Nyla Roundtree and Ashely Chavis; his brothers, Latif Roundtree (Sonya) and James Roundtree; his stepsiblings, Veronica Drakeford and Rudolph Roundtree Jr.; his grandchildren, Omar and Ahraelyn; Leroy, Gladys Frieson and Shawn.

“Shawn was an amazing friend and a great guy. We used to play an insane amount of basketball in high school. I always remembered he had a 360 dunk that had style. Our favorite video games back then were street fighter and tecmo bowl. We would always borrow his pop’s car when we needed to go anywhere. We ate Doritos and drank fruit punch. We even did the Boy Scouts for a bit. We regrettably drifted apart after I left for the military, but I always considered him a personal friend. He is definitely”
