It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Thompson-Pierce of Rosenhayn, New Jersey, born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Anniebell Scarbrough; her son Joseph Gary Thompson; her grandsons, Gary Jones, Joseph Jones and Laquaint Allen; her aunt Jessie Jackson; and her sisters, Eugenia Sharpe and Lillian "Ann" Carter.
She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Pierce; her children, Jacob Thompson, Steve Thompson and Sharon Thompson; her adoptive children, Jeremy Thompson Pierce, Trintee Thompson Pierce and Aamara Thompson Pierce; her siblings, A. Frankie Scarbrough, Ruthie Townsend, Tissie Harris (William), Sheila Dunkley, Lisa Coney Fonsville (Maurice), Brenda Daye (Baron), Curtis Scarbrough (Deanna) and Edward Scarbrough; and her aunt Geneva Jones. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
