She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Westbrook and Eunice Westbrook; and her son Herbert Goines Jr.. She is survived by: her sisters, Thomasene Gray and Henrietta Anthony (Marshall); her daughter Dina Smith (Troy); her grandchildren, Taiya and Troy Smith; her sisters-in-law, Katherine Gary and Leona Goines; and her close friend Yvonne Brooks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, godchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gardner Funeral Home - Runnemede (126 S Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Woodbridge Memorial Park.
