She is survived by: her sisters, Thomasene Gray and Henrietta Anthony (Marshall); her daughter Dina Smith (Troy); her grandchildren, Taiya and Troy Smith; her sisters-in-law, Katherine Gary and Leona Goines; and her close friend Yvonne Brooks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, godchildren.
