She was predeceased by: her parents, William McHale and Dolores McHale; her husband George Strickler; her children, Michael Strickler, Theresa Marcelonis and Judith Robbins; her brother Bill McHale; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Karslo and Betty Rehill.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Strickler, Catherine Costello, George Strickler, David Strickler (Choe) and Joyce Peters-Freeland (Chuck); her children-in-law, Lisa Strickler and John Robbins; her siblings, Helen Karslo, Joseph McHale (Kathy), Judy McCarthy (Bob) and Bobby McHale (Del); and her siblings-in-law, Fran McHale and Linda Gizzi (Pat). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
