He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Wakeley; his parents, Robert and Lilian; his brothers, Robert, Henry, James and Charles; his daughter Kathryn; his daughter-in-law Sandra DiCarlo Wakeley; and his grandchildren, Michael and Brielle.
He is survived by: his children, Edward (Anna), Dennis (Maria), Eileen Wakeley, Robert (Denise), Diane Heckman (David) and Amy (David); his sister Elizabeth Hamilton; and his close friend Herb Munz. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
