With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George R. Speakman of Runnemede, New Jersey, who passed away on January 9, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As George departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved George. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ralph "Hap", Tom, John, David and Janet.
He is survived by: his sister Ethel Franks of Moorestown, NJ; and his sons, George Jr. (Darla) of Browns Mills, NJ, Danny (Lori) of Chesapeake, VA, Rob Dillahay (Verena) of Lakeland, FL, Paul Dillahay (Kierstin) of Edgewater, MD and Rick (Judy). He is also survived by his 17 nieces and nephews, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
