He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dixon Summerfield and Evelyn Avery; and his brother Bruce Summerfield. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Summerfield; his children, Stephen Summerfield (Lisa), Mark Summerfield (Donna) and Sharon Matulewicz (Stephen); his grandchildren, Blake (Cathy), Justine (Bryan), Zachary, Eric (Kelsey), David (Brianna), Michael, Matthew, Mark (Sydney) and Meghan; his great grandchildren, Emma, Bradley, Hailey, Harper, Jace, Bryson and Grace; and his sister Lois King (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gardner Funeral Home - Runnemede (126 S Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery (240 N Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094).
