She is survived by: her husband Louis C. Joyce, 3rd; her sons, Louis (Kory) of Alloway, NJ and Craig of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Heather Hancz, Andrew Joyce, Tyler Joyce, Emily Joyce, Colin Joyce and Madeleine Joyce; her great grandchild Jethro Hancz; and her sister Alice Creager. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Rachel's memory to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
