She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Small and Ann Small of Edenton; and her siblings, Mildred, Libby, Charles Jr., Minton, Walter and Marilyn.
She is survived by : her husband John Paddock; her children, Robert Paddock, John "Jack" Paddock Jr. (Sharon) and Patricia Derner; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy, Lynn, Ryan, John, Jamie and Matthew.
