With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Alan Schmidt Jr. of Rutherford, New Jersey, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Ann Mery; his sister Laura Schmidt-Davis (Bill Klovert); his nephew Dennis Davis, Jr. (Katie); and his niece Jillian Kent (Josh).

In his memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the Rutherford Elks #547 Scholarship Fund or the Humane Society of Bergen County/Lost Pet Inc. (Lyndhurst) would be greatly appreciated.
