He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Doherty and Thomas Doherty; his brother Thomas; his sister-in-law Rosalie Doherty; and his sisters, Margaret Doherty and Patricia Doherty.
He is survived by: his brother James; his sister-in-law Nancy Doherty; his nieces and nephews, Maureen Doherty (Brian Christman), Megan Doherty (Carsten Bowers), Caitlin Doherty, Tom Doherty (Courtney McGuinn), John Doherty (Corrin) and Matthew Doherty (Catie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Aidan, Heather, Lauren, Brian, Hannah, Claire, Jacqueline and Seamus. He is also survived by friends, former parishioners, brother.
