We announce the death of Sally Giglio of Rutherford, New Jersey, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 67. Sally will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her nephew Salvatore Scaravilli, Jr.; her parents, Carmelo Scaravilli and Maria Concetta Scaravilli; and her sister Pina Scaravilli. She is survived by: her husband Silvestro; her sons, Salvatore Giglio (Nicole) and Massimiliano "Max" Giglio (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Adeline and Everett; her siblings, Salvatore Scaravilli (Rosalba), Francesca Scaravilli, Giusi Scaravilli and Vincenzo Scaravilli; her nephew Michael Scaravilli; and her nieces, Alexa Scaravilli and Marge Cuce.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Aloia Funeral Home (180 Harrison Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's RC Church (40 Spring St, Lodi, NJ 07644).
In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations for Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.
