She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other George H. Schlitt; her children, Stephen and Meredith Schlitt; her daughter-in-law Heather; her grandsons, Devon and Colton; her siblings, Ruth Walrath, Harold Effner and Thomas Effner (Kathy); and her brother-in-law John E. Schlitt (Diane). She was also cherished by her extended family—nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parow Funeral Home (185 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ, USA 07031). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Holy Cross Chapel.
