He is survived by: his wife Laura; his sons, Eugene Gilroy and Louis Gilroy (Jill); his grandchildren, Justin Gilroy (Josie), Jessica Timmerman (Mike) and Courtney Perry (Jake); his great grandchildren, Luke, Scarlett, Giana and Beau; and his siblings, John Gilroy, Geri Guse and Cynthia Aukscunas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Di Chiara Funeral Home (300 Main St, Lodi, NJ 07644). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral Cemetery (1708 Oram St, Scranton, PA 18504).
