Janis Lorraine Tveter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis Lorraine Tveter of Saddle River, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janis Lorraine Tveter to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anna Martha Johnson and Ingolf Involsen Syre; her siblings, Gloria Nilsen, Ronald Clifford Syre, David Syre and Gilbert Thomas Syre; her husband John Kenneth Tveter (Ken); and her children, Mark Steven Tveter, Laura Tveter Brunette, Thomas Kenneth Tveter, Lisa Tveter Nowell, Douglas John Tveter and Janis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home (100 Franklin Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Teeters' East Chapel (507 Church St, Hawley, PA 18428). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Green Gates Cemetery (1020 Hudson St, Hawley, PA 18428).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E 33rd St #8, New York, NY 10016.
