We bid farewell to Lya Pfeifer of Saddle River, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2026 at the age of 82. Lya touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tonn and Hilde Tonn. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Pfeifer; her children, Anne Doering (Jens) and Robert Friedrich (Jane Craig); her grandchildren, Charlie, Cole Friedrich and Felix Doering; her stepdaughters, Jena Boomhower (Chuck) and Lorraine Pfeifer; her stepgrandchildren, Carl Boomhower (Meredith), Erica Boomhower and Isabelle Boomhower; and her stepgreat-grandson Charles Joseph Boomhower.
