Marion Thomas Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Marion Thomas of Toms River, New Jersey is shared. Marion, born on December 7, 1930, passed away on October 15, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marion Thomas to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dougherty and Mary Ellen Dougherty; and her husband John R. Thomas. She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Dougherty, Elizabeth Kelly, John Dougherty, Gerald Dougherty, Patricia Goold and Helen Dougherty; her children, John C. Thomas, Geralyn Wright (Robert), Ellen Wilson (Richard), Peter Thomas (Antionette), Susan Padovano (John) and Michael Thomas (Lori); and her siblings, James Dougherty (Fran), Kathleen Quinn (Frank) and Thomas Dougherty (Barbara). She is also survived by grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel RC Church (88 E Saddle River Rd, Saddle River, NJ 07458). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
