Markham Forbes Rollins IV Obituary

Markham Forbes Rollins IV, age 41, died peacefully on May 9, 2026, at Villa Marie Clare hospice in Saddle River, New Jersey, following a courageous three-year battle with Stage IV Colon Cancer.

Markham was born on March 28, 1985, in Bronxville, New York. He grew up in Westchester County, NY and graduated from Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York in 2003. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2008, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. He built a career in Software Engineering, working primarily with media companies, and most recently was with Barstool Sports, bringing his profession and passion for sports together.

He met his wife, Jennifer in 2012. They have resided in Stamford, Connecticut since 2015 and were married in October 2022. They enjoyed a full life of laughter, travelling, live music, and spending time with family and friends.

Markham was an avid golfer, New York sports fan, skier and music lover. He took every opportunity to share experiences with the people in his life, always looking forward to the next trip, incorporating his hobbies and his relationships. Following his diagnosis, he quickly became an advocate for Colorectal Cancer awareness and research, making an impact and connecting throughout the community along his journey.

Markham is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Langer; his father, Markham Rollins III, and stepmother, Jody Rollins; his mother, Sally Morgan Rollins; his grandmother, Jayne Morgan; his siblings & their partners, Jonathan Rollins (Mariana Giusti-Rodriguez) and their sons Luca and Camilo, Christopher Rollins (Fabio Ferrari), Evann Specht Mahoney (Hayden), Madeline Specht (Ben Museles), and Jordan Specht Drotman (Derek); and his extended family including his in-laws, Joan Langer, Jeffrey and Elizabeth Langer, and Michael Langer (Lindsay) and his son Evan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Markham Rollins, Jr., Ann “Missy” Rollins, and Alan Morgan; along with Sandra Evans, Charles “Chuck” Rollins and Gerald Langer.

Markham will be remembered with deep love and admiration by his family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He adamantly did not want a funeral blanketed in sadness, but instead wished for a party to honor our relationships, memories, and his impact. To honor his request, a Celebration of Life will be held on October 24, 2026, from 12:00 - 3:30 pm at The Station, 194 W. Ashland Street, Doylestown, PA 18902. Come in whatever you are comfortable in to best celebrate Markham’s memory, however, please refrain from wearing black at his request.

A private service will be held for Markham's internment at Doylestown Cemetery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
