With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Leo August of Saddle River, New Jersey, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah August and Meyer August; his wife Pauline; his daughter Ilene; and his brother William.
He is survived by: his daughter Betsy August Gold (Ronald) of Saddle River, N. J.; his granddaughters, Stephanie Gold Grossberg (Eric) of Hoboken, N. J., Jacqueline Gold of New York, N. Y. and Alexandra Gold of Hoboken, N. J.; his great grandchildren, Payton and Shane Grossberg; and his sister Sheila Vass of Floral Park, N. Y..
