He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Shimp and Caroline Harris Shimp; and his sister Brenda Shimp Jamison. He is survived by: his children, Lori Shimp Bacon (Bruce), Eric Shimp and Jennifer Shimp; his grandchildren, Danielle Bacon, Jack Bacon and Lilee Dickson; his siblings, Donald Shimp (Anne Morris), Leon Shimp (Sachiko), Joyce Shimp Massey (Tom) and Shirley Shimp Chew (Jimmy); and his brother-in-law Ed Jamison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
