We announce the death of Marlond Evans Jr. (Salem, New Jersey), who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 83. Marlond will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marlond will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Marlond’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlond Sr. and Marion of Salem; his wife Lorraine; and his sisters, Faye Pancoast and Marion Shimp.
He is survived by: his sister Jean Ridgeway of Hancocks Bridge, NJ; and his sons, Marlond III of Woodstown, NJ, Harry (Alvina) of Las Cruces, NM, Tom (Deb) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Gary Hogate (Krystal) of Richmond, VA and David (Kirsten) of Carneys Point, NJ. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
