It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ii. James E. Freeman of Sayreville, New Jersey, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Cecelia Bopp; and his siblings, Bonnie L. Ryan and Robert Freeman. He is survived by : his friend Gail Ann Freeman; his father James E. Freeman of Southfork, PA; his children, Jennifer M. Mandala (William), Melanie M. Sargeant (Keith), Stefanie A. Regan (Duff), James E. Freeman, III, Cassandra L. Freeman, Christina A. Mendez (Luis), Megan M. McCurdy (Patrick) and Danielle K. Spano (Paul); and his sister Georgia Barbato of North Carolina. He is also survived by grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner Children's Hospital.
