Amilcar Monroy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amilcar Monroy of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Luis A. Monroy Sr.; and his siblings, Luis A. Monroy Jr. and Muriel C. Monroy-Conway. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Kelly Monroy Tong, Matthew Monroy and Christy Monroy Bravo; his grandson Benjamin Caldwell; his mother Emma Monroy; and his siblings, Hamlet Monroy and Astrid Mamatz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (218 N Ave W, Cranford, NJ 07016).
