It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Leo Tomkin of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harbin and Manchuria. He is survived by : his wife Renee "Ruth" Tomkin; his children, Robert and Lee M. Stern; and his grandchildren, Christina, Alexandra, Jonas and Jake.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home (155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
