He was predeceased by : his parents, James and Hazel; and his brothers, Jimmy and Gary Stuart. He is survived by : his wife Grace M. (NJ); his children, Annie and Sean; his siblings, John, Kathleen and Christine Stuart; his in-laws, Betty and Tony Perfilio; and his brothers-in-law, Evan Arnow-Perfilio (Kirsten) and Tony Perfilio (Alexandra). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

He created this body of work while battling lung cancer for the first time during COVID-19.
