She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Curtis M. Jackson; her daughter Stacey B. Jackson; her granddaughters, Leiyah Jackson and Nailah Jackson; her parents, Lillian Luella Redman Reed and O'Neil Reed; and her siblings, Patricia Anderson, Carmen Eaves and Gordon Reed.
She is survived by: her son Scott C. Jackson; her daughter-in-law Janet Signo-Jackson; her grandchildren, Kianna Jackson, Justin Jackson, NiaLynn Jackson and Milani Jackson; her sisters, Janice Reed and Denise Spottswood; and her niece Jamie Reed. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
