We announce the death of Maria J. Ticki of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 97. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Ticki. She is survived by: her daughters, Lucy Diaz (Bill Avello) and Irene Ehmann (Ralph Ehmann); her grandchildren, Tiffany D'Arpa (Kris), Michael Diaz, Candace Evans (Anthony) and Amanda Santangelo (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Berkeley, Demetri, Rilynn, Olivia, Vito, Ava and Ella.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
