He was predeceased by: his wife Angie; his brother Romano; and his sister-in-law Elsie. He is survived by: his children, Dominick (Patti) and Rachel DiMonte (Silvano Sr.); his grandchildren, Paul (Stephanie), Silvano Jr. and Dominick J.; his brother Emil; and his pets, Luna, Bella and Ellie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rossi Funeral Home (1937 Westfield Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Bartholomew the Apostle Church (2032 Westfield Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076).
