He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Hartman; his parents, Joseph Hartman and Mary Hartman; and his siblings, Leonard Hartman, Janet Hartman and Ruth Hartman.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Judy Hartman), Andrew (Alice Hartman) and Joseph (Adrienne Hartman); his grandchildren, Joseph III, Crystal and Evelyn; his grandchildren-in-law, Annmarie and Carl Buffalino; his grandchildren, David, Cathy Hartman, Kathleen and Eric Acs; his cousin Laverne Smith; his friends, Scottish Terrier and Chrissy; Michael Foran, Karen and Brian. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; his nieces and nephews.
