It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Nancy Sharkey of Sea Girt, New Jersey, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Daley and Gertrude Daley (Hope); and her husband Thomas J. Sharkey, Sr.. She is survived by: her sister Hope; her brother-in-law Jack Lawlor; her children, Ellen Del Mauro (John), Thomas J Sharkey, Jr. (Petra), Ann McCormick (Jim) and Ted Sharkey (Judy Christakis); her grandchild JT; her granddaughter-in-law Josephine DelMauro; her grandson Kevin; her grandchild-in-law Kim DelMauro; and her grandchildren, Tyler (Jack Dunphy), Brian Mc Cormick, Brielle (Mc Cormick), Kyle (Meghan Mc Cormick), Shauna Mc Cormick, Brendan Mc Cormick, Teddy Sharkey, Tommy Sharkey and Petra Sharkey. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
