He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Scasserra and Edith Carasia Scasserra; his wife Blanche McKay Scasserra; and his sister Dolly Barone. He is survived by: his children, Benny Scasserra of Hawthorne, Judy Morrison (Jack) of Middlesex, Joanne Scasserra (Gary Friedman) of Brick, Janice Veglia (Ralph) of Palm Coast, Florida and Jacqueline Rinaldi (John) of Toms River; his grandchildren, Joseph, Janine, Dylan, Skylar, Jimmy, Joshua, Christopher and Kyle; and his great grandchildren, Kendall and Cecilia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Timothy E. Ryan Home For Funerals- Seaside Park (809 SW Central Ave, Seaside Park, NJ 08752). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church in Seaside Park (50 E St, Seaside Park, NJ 08752). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Catharine of Siena RC Church (50 E St, Seaside Park, NJ 08752). An entombment will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - Toms River (62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753).
